As you may remember, I got to spend a few weeks relaxing in my favorite part of Bolivia back in July. We spent most of the time at Mauricio's grandmother's house in Trinidad but also made a trip to visit his other grandmother in the rural village of El Carmen. That'll be another post for another day, though.
For today, I thought I'd share about just one day that happened to be a particularly fun one. We set out on Mauricio's motorcycle - his cousin perched on the front and myself hanging on the back - braving the scorching afternoon sun in search of some water. Trinidad, Bolivia has a man-made lake just outside of the city and it was there that we spent the afternoon cooling off in the refreshing water.
We started out just getting our feet wet,

It was a lovely afternoon for some fun in the sun & water.
