I finally had the opportunity to photography Bolivian food again!
(In other words, I finally ate an interesting meal in adequate lighting!)
And this food is not just any; it is my FAVORITE Bolivian food.
Chancho is Bolivian pork. It is moist and flavorful and oh, so delicious. ChicharrĂ³n de Chancho, which is in the photo, is made by frying the pork and seasoning it. We also eat the cooked skin which becomes hard, crunchy, and tasty!
Chancho is more of a special treat than a typical food. It is certainly more expensive and is often reserved for birthdays and holidays. I, however, wish that I could eat it every single day. Yum!
