A Traveler’s Advice

I have some advice for any travelers out there...

If you like to be able to get through airports quickly and easily, don’t become a resident of another country.

If it makes you nervous when people interrogate you in a stern voice, don’t become a resident of another country.

If you’d rather not be detained by customs before they’ve even glanced at your baggage, passport, or face, don’t become a resident of another country.

If you don’t like having your entire bag emptied (socks on the floor) and having the lining of the bag removed, don’t become a resident of another country.

If it makes you uncomfortable for everyone to ask you why you are travelling in an accusing and suspicious manner, don’t become a resident of another country.

But then again, if you love some country so much that all of this is somehow worth it to you, , go ahead and become a resident.

So do you go through that a lot? I think it is sad that it has come to this.
