Back Home

I am back home, whatever that means.

I have been travelling nearly non-stop from December 20th until now. From my favorite city, Trinidad, Bolivia, to a rural Bolivian village, to my parents’ home in Minnesota.

It has been exciting and fun and interesting and enjoyable. And now I’m back in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Home, I think.

I love to travel. I love the change in scenery, the time with family and friends, and the relaxation. So I’m kind of sad to “get back to normal.”

But then again, there’s something nice about settling back into “my place.” It feels good to have all the suitcases, bags, and backpacks emptied and put away. And it’s refreshing to have all my things right where I need them.

Today I am bittersweet. I’m glad to be home. And I’m sad to be home.

Awww, I know that feeling! And, hey, you have an 'almost' naked woman on your blog! It just surprised me a little! ;) (can you see her?)

Ok, now it's something for environmental defense...I think it is a changing ad...sorry.

Hahaha, I had no idea! Thanks for letting me know, Samantha! I just wanted to try putting up an AD to see what happened and I had only ever seen it referring to global warming!
